Lisa Cramer, LCPC

I believe we have a fantastic team here at MBN. Each therapist has been chosen with breadth of experience and approaches in mind. Personally, I am currently only conducting neurofeedback assessments and sessions, and not taking new clients. However, if you suffer from anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, insomnia, migraines, concussion/post concussion syndrome, neurotherapy can help. For counseling needs, I can direct you to a good fit within our wonderful group of therapists. Give me a call today to start the life you deserve.

We all want to feel love and accepted, not just by others, but loved and accepted by ourselves as well. Everyone is an indivisible person, having different aspects that make up their unique self. When one or more of those parts feels off, the whole person can feel broken. I have worked with clients who struggle with anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, and more. I specialize with the challenges associated with trauma, especially trauma experienced by first responders and frontline workers. Utilizing a person-centered approach with eclectic therapies, I help clients understand themselves and the world they live in. In a safe environment, you can speak openly and safely without judgement to meet your needs. It's time to feel whole again.

I believe psychotherapy can help with almost anything. Sometimes clients come in needing assistance with making a tough decision, while other times they’re needing tools to help better cope with anxiety or depression. I feel called to work with younger folks - children and adolescents specifically. I typically see children who are experiencing familial issues, ADHD, learning difficulties, and behavioral issues. Adolescence can be uncomfortable and confusing. It is a painful time for teenagers. I am deeply passionate about providing them with unconditional support, empathy, and a safe space to share their emotions. With younger children I engage in play therapy, as well as neurofeedback. Neurofeedback is typically used for clients with ADHD, behavioral issues, anxiety, depression, and trauma. For adolescents, I focus on developing a stronger sense of self. We will work on identity, interpersonal issues, and any additional struggles the client is experiencing. I truly believe you can come into the therapy room with whatever you’re experiencing in your life, and I will be there to meet you where you’re at, listen to your story, and help in whatever way is going to best serve you.

Emily Myers, LPC

I believe that therapy can be the key to unlocking your higher potential, regardless of where you are in life. Human beings have incredible capabilities and strength but that can be difficult to discover on your own whilst facing life’s challenges. I have worked with clients who experience anxiety, depression, interpersonal issues and more. I utilize an eclectic approach to therapy with a focus on the therapeutic relationship so that we can focus on who you are, what you need and what you want in a flexible and compassionate manner. I am here to listen without judgment to whatever is going on in your life and lend you support to overcome your personal challenges so that you can be the person you want to be and live the kind of life that you want to live.

One of the strongest things you can do is explore and understand your own story to begin a journey of healing and growth. Many times, we feel overwhelmed for a long time before seeking change. I am passionate about providing a warm, safe, and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard to explore your thoughts, feelings, beliefs, and behaviors. I have experience providing therapeutic services to children, adolescents, young adults, and adults with a focus on anxiety, depression, life transitions, relational issues, stress management, career counseling, and addiction. I utilize an eclectic approach to therapy while focusing on the therapeutic relationship. Regardless of what brings you to therapy, I will meet you where you are and through collaboration, will guide you to achieve your goals and live a fulfilling life.

I believe everyone’s experiences shape who they are, sometimes diminishing an innate light within. I believe therapy can assist an individual in truly learning who they are, recapturing self and growing into the most optimal version of self. Each therapeutic session is designed by creating a safe space for you, the client, to take control. You are the author of your story. My therapeutic style originates in person centered therapy with an eclectic use of modalities, techniques and interventions. My goal is to walk alongside you as you discover the best version of self, void of judgement.  I have worked with clients on a broad spectrum from anxiety and depression to life transitions. I work with children, adolescents, adults, and families. I will walk alongside you as you grow and embrace all your strengths.

Joseph Cooley, LPC

I am very passionate about the practice of psychotherapy. I believe it is tremendously beneficial and is essentially the equivalent to a gym membership for your mental health.  It helps us through challenges, works through our anxieties, helps us see things clearly, etc.

Unfortunately, many, especially males, are hesitant to pursue it due to the stigma that still surrounds the practice. As a male counselor, I advocate for reducing that stigma. I provide a warm and non-judgmental environment for my clients. I use an eclectic style of different modalities that I learned in my accredited counseling background. While I primarily work with young people, I am happy to work with everyone no matter their age, race, gender, and socioeconomic status.
